Man With Alzheimer's Missing from Northern California

Police have issued an urgent notice to help find a 77-year-old man who has Alzheimer's and left his home 6 p.m. Tuesday in a 1977 Ford truck, possibly headed to the Bay Area.

James Travis Hardaway is described as approximately 5’8” and 150 lbs with gray hair and hazel eyes. Hardaway is missing from his homee on Miners Creek, just outside of Etna, Calif. Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office reports that Hardaway had about three-quarters of a tank of gas.

Hardaway was last seen wearing black jeans, a medium blue short sleeve shirt (with possible pattern on it) and possibly wearing a turquoise ring and belt buckle. The vehicle listed has a California license plate of 4A24625.
