A New Business Lifts Off in the Rogue Valley
A new business is lifting off in the Rogue Valley. Table Rock Helicopters is a new flight school in Medford.
The owner Clay Clark doesn't have any of the choppers in Medford yet, but says he'll have them in time for his grand opening Saturday. That's when people can sign up for classes to get their pilot's license.
Table Rock Helicopters will be the only private flight training place south of Portland.
Clark is only 27-years-old and says he was able to start up his business through the help of local community groups like southern oregon regional economic development incorporated, or SOREDI.
C;ark is hoping to sign up 50 people this Saturday at his grand opening. It starts at 3 p.m. at the Medford Air Service building near the airport.
