Man Pleads Not Guilty in Crescent City Murder Case

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (AP) - An Arcata man accued of killing a

23-year-old woman and dumping her body off an Oregon bridge has

pleaded not guilty to murder.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Josiah Miller stabbed Michelle

Ashlee Dickson, whom he had planned to buy $850 of marijuana from,

last July in Crescent City.

Authorities found the charred remains of Dickson's car the next

day, and on July 23 hikers found her body beneath the 345-foot-tall

Thomas Creek Bridge outside Brookings, Ore.

Miller's trial is scheduled to begin in September in Del Norte

County Superior Court.
