Central Point Couple Pleads Guilty in $400,000 Tax Fraud Linked to Health Supplement Sales
EUGENE, Ore. -- A Central Point couple pleaded guilty to charges they failed to file income tax returns for 2004 and 2005.
A federal judge in Eugene will sentence Kenneth and Dorothy Anderson on Sept. 8. They face a maximum of two years in prison.
As part of their plea agreement, the Andersons agreed to pay back taxes, including more than $400,000 restitution to the IRS.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Bradford says the couple, both personally and through their corporation, earned more than $1.3 million in commissions by selling health supplements between 2002 and 2005.
