JOHANNESBURG (AP) - Spain is the World Cup champion.
The reigning European champions scored a goal in extra time to beat the Netherlands 1-0 in the final, claiming their nation's first World Cup trophy.
It's the third time the Dutch have lost in the finale, leaving them still searching for their first World Cup title.
