The Fireworks 'Show Must Go On' in Yreka
There will be a fireworks show at the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds even though they haven't raised all the money yet. Siskiyou County Motorsports Association is sponsoring the fireworks show this year that costs as much as $13,000. They are still around $4,000 short, but now that they are this far in the public will have their show and they will foot the bill for now. They just hope they raise the rest of the money soon.
Billy Jasmer, President of the Siskiyou County Motorsports Association, says, "It's going to feel good. After the show goes off on Saturday night and after we get done on with or races it's going to be a huge sigh of relief."
The show costs $8 if you go to see the races. That's the normal price of a race at the fairgrounds. If you just want to see the fireworks after the races are over it costs $1 for adults. Kids get in free.
Donations to the Motorsports Association for the fireworks show can be made at First Premiere Bank in Yreka.
