Thousands of pounds of food collected for ACCESS

MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Taste of Harry and David finished strong Sunday.

Plenty came to enjoy the wine and food celebration this weekend while also giving to others.

With the help of the community, they collected 3,500 pounds of non-perishable food for ACCESS.

40,000 pounds of peaches and pears were donated from Harry and David to the Rotary First Harvest. They'll use all the fruit to trade with other rotaries for different produce, which will all eventually go into the food boxes at ACCESS.

Harry and David said helping out those in need is a great excuse to come and also enjoy all the fine drinks and food of the Rogue Valley.
