Police: Grants Pass Tourist Robbed At Gunpoint
A Grants Pass tourist was robbed at gunpoint last night.
Now police are asking for your help locating the two suspects.
Police say Michael Messuri, 26, got into town on a Greyhound bus late last night.
While walking around town looking for a hotel room Messuri told police two men drove past him in a full size truck, stopped in the middle of Terry and got out.
That's when police say the driver of the dark, regular cab pick up hit Messuri in the face several times before pulling out a gun and ordering him to turn over his backpack and wallet.
Police say the other suspect, the passenger in the truck, pulled out another gun while the driver attacked him again.
Police say the men sped away north on Terry in the truck.
Police say the driver is a blonde white male in his 30's. He's about six feet tall with a skinny build, no facial hair and was wearing a red baseball cap, white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police describe the passenger as another man in his 30's with a shaved head, a blonde stubbly beard, about 5'10'" and a slender build. He was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts.
