Days Creek Man Dies in Truck Accident

Investigators believe speed was a factor in a singe vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Days Creek man.
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office says 56-year old Marvin Yayne Hill died when his pickup truck hit an oak tree on Placer Road in Sunny Valley around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office says Hill lost control of the truck when the right-side tires briefly went off the road onto the shoulder.
Investigators say his brother told them that the crash occurred as Marvin Hill was driving to his Riley Street home after learning another brother had passed away of natural causes.
