Art show helps celebrate Jacksonville's birthday
JACKSONVILLE, Ore. -- Potters, painters and other skilled craftsman showcasing their work at Jacksonville's 14th annual Celebration of Arts Festival.
This year, Jacksonville is bridging the gap over 150 years of art to help them celebrate the city's birthday.
There were more than 80 vendors, which is more than they have had in the past.
Organizers say they give the economy credit for bringing them more artists.
All of the money raised through the booth sales will go to funding the Jacksonville Community Center.
This art show is just the start of events to come.
Jacksonville's 150th birthday will be in two weeks.
