Trial of Klamath Falls woman accused of shooting horseman may be moved
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- The attorney for a woman accused of murdering a Sprague River man last month says she might seek a change of venue for the trial.
Evelyn Oldenkamp tells the Herald and News of Klamath Falls that such a move might be necessary following news reports that 47-year-old Deanna Brindle confessed to shooting Robert Kincaid in the head and burying him on her property.
Brindle, who told sheriff's investigators the shooting followed a rape, is being held without bail in the Klamath County Jail.
Meanwhile, more than 50 people gathered inside the Sprague River Community Center on Monday to remember Kincaid, a 54-year-old man frequently seen on horseback.
