KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- A man accused of stabbing another man in the back at least 10 times last week pleaded not guilty Tuesday to attempted murder and assault charges.

Dallas Soliz, 26, turned himself over to investigators Sunday night. A grand jury will consider an indictment against him Thursday, according to the Klamath County District Attorney's Office. He was being held in the Klamath County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Victim Chas A. Williams, 22, of Fort Bidwell, Calif., was listed in fair condition at Sky Lakes Medical Center Tuesday, according to authorities.
