More Than Just Books at the Library
Grants Pass, Ore. -- The Josephine County Library was packed Sunday afternoon but people weren't necessarily there to borrow books, they were busy buying at the Library's first ever Holiday Bazaar.
Forty vendors showed up selling everything from knitted hats to paintings.
The fee to rent the space all went to "Friends of the Library," an organization that helps update the library.
A silent auction and proceeds from donated items also are going to the "Friends of the Library."
The organization hopes to buy an automated checkout machine for the library with the money raised.
