Ron Wyden Holds Town Hall Meeting in Grants Pass
Open Forum for General Public
GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- United States Senator Ron Wyden held a town hall meeting at Grants Pass High School Friday morning. Residents of Josephine County were invited to attend the open forum and express their questions and concerns. Unemployment, health care, and the local economy were hot topics today. Senator Wyden says he's working toward a health care plan that drives down premium costs and increases competition in the medical industry. He also says he's working to create jobs in the private sector in areas hit the hardest, such as forestry and transportation. Senator Wyden holds town hall meetings in each of Oregon's 36 counties every year.
