Grants Pass Police are looking for the person who drew some racially charged graffiti. The incident took place sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Residents say someone painted racial slurs, swastikas, death threats, and sexual imagery on a pickup truck, road surfaces, and a light post on the 100 block of Pardee lane.

An African-American man lives in the property next door to the vandalized truck, and the graffiti on the road gives directions to the man's apartment. People who live near the vandalism said they were upset their children have to walk past the vulgar and racist imagery.

The case number is 06-24-08.

If you have any information concerning a possible suspect in this crime call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-3-DETECT.

Sonitrol will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and the filing of charges, and you can remain anonymous if you would like.

The Grants Pass Daily Courier reports an apartment building was sprayed with white power slogans in a separate incident earlier this month.
