MARCOLA, Ore. -- A school superintendent who resigned following his arrest in a Springfield police prostitution sting has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor that will be removed from his record if he doesn't reoffend over the next year.
Court documents say Rolla Weber signed a so-called diversion agreement in Springfield Municipal Court on Wednesday. He has agreed to pay a $1,000 fine.
The 62-year-old Weber was one of 13 men arrested in a sting the weekend of July 10. He resigned from the Marcola School District the following Monday. He had been superintendent since 2001.
