WARREN, Ore. -- A Warren-area man was cited by Oregon State Police Wednesday morning after he pulled in front of a loaded school bus from Berg Road on Highway 30.  There were reports of very minor injuries but no one was transported for treatment.

At 7:50 a.m. a school bus driven by JACOB J. WEBER JR., 72, from Scappoose, was northbound on Highway 30 with 21 grade school age students on board enroute to Warren Elementary School.  Approaching the intersection with Berg Road, the bus was attempting to turn left from Highway 30 when a 2003 Buick LeSabre driven by THOMAS J. McDERMOTT, 66, from Warren, pulled out to head north onto Highway 30 and collided into the left front section of the bus.

WEBER was not injured. Three students reported minor injury but did not require transport for treatment.

McDERMOTT was using safety restraints and received minor injury not requiring transport to a hospital.  He was cited for Failing to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
