Siskiyou County Crime Report

*Gary Copeland, age 48 of Yreka, was arrested at his residence at 10:35 a.m. on 7/15/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail on a warrant charging him with revocation of probation; Copeland was later released with an August court date.

*Thessa Joann Allen, age 38 of Montague, was arrested at her residence at 4:00 p.m. on 7/15/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail on two warrants each charging her with revocation of probation; Allen was later released with an August court date.

*A Hornbrook man reported that on 7/13/09 someone broken into his home and took most of a recently processed whole beef from his freezer.  

*Mark Dwaine Smith, Jr., age 23 of Yreka, was arrested at a residence in Montague at 7:10 p.m. on 7/16/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail charged with battery on his girlfriend and a warrant charging him with failure to appear; Smith was later released with an August court date.  Smith was arrested after the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic violence situation at the residence.

*Steven Michael Ralls, age 28 of Dunsmuir, was arrested in Dunsmuir at 7:06 p.m. on 7/16/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail charged with being drunk in public.  The Sheriff’s Office received a report of an out-of-control man who was trying to fight with people near a restaurant in Dunsmuir.  They responded and found several people were holding Ralls up against a wall at the Travelers Hotel on Dunsmuir Avenue awaiting law enforcement.
