Siskiyou County Sheriff's Report -- Nov. 3

- David Everett Hager, age 48 of Montague, was arrested in Montague at 7:06 p.m. on 10/30/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail on a warrant charging him with revocation of probation; Hager was later released with a December court date.
- Jay Stephen Sadowski, age 45 of Montague, was arrested in Yreka at 8:20 p.m. on 10/31/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a blood alcohol level of .08% of higher; he was later released with a December court date.
- Kevin Arthur Noble, II, age 24 of Yreka, was arrested following a traffic stop on Highway 263 north of Yreka at 10:15 p.m. on 10/31/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a blood alcohol level of .08% or higher; Noble was later released with a November court date.
- At about 2:57 a.m. on 10/31/09 the Sheriff’s Office received a report that a Montague man had been assaulted. Asa L. Bonds, age 34 of Montague, was taken by ambulance to Fairchild medical Center in Yreka where he was treated for his injuries and later released. A witness said that during an argument, a 20-year old Montague man had struck Bonds twice on his left side with a metal pipe and that when Bonds fell to the ground he struck his head. The suspect had fled the scene before the Deputy arrived. The case remains under investigation
- A male and female, both age 16 of Happy Camp, were arrested in Happy Camp at about 3 AM on 11/1/09 and lodged into Juvenile Hall charged with burglary, grand theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, obstructing a peace officer and curfew violation. The two are charged with breaking into a garage used for storage near a residence in Happy Camp earlier in the night and taking chainsaws, a leaf blower and other items from the garage. While on patrol, Sheriff’s Deputies saw several juveniles run as they approached. The Deputies checked the area and found and the male and female trying to hide. They also saw a chainsaw and a gas-powered leaf blower near the two who jumped up and tried to run but were caught a short distance away. Further arrests in the case are anticipated.
- Randall Scott Powell, age 40 of Fort Jones, was arrested following a traffic stop in Mount Shasta at 1:20 a.m. on 11/1/09 and booked into Siskiyou County Jail charged with driving white under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a blood alcohol level of .08% or higher; he was later released with a November court date.
