It's slick: Tuesday AM road conditions

The Oregon Department of Transportation is warning drivers of snow and ice covered highways today. Here are some areas to be aware of (click here for the latest via TripCheck on KTVL.com):

  • Interstate 5 at Siskiyou Summit - snow flurries, spots of ice
  • Interstate 5 at Sexton Summit - snow flurries, bare pavement (33 degrees)
  • Interstate 5 at Stage Road Pass near Roseburg - snow flurries, slush, snowpack breaking up (32 degrees)
  • Highway 66 at Green Springs Summit - packed snow, snow flurries
  • Highway 199 at Hayes Hill - snow flurries, bare pavement (34 degrees)
  • Highway 97 at Klamath Falls - patches of ice on the road
  • Highway 97 at Chiloquin - black ice on the road, snow flurries
  • Highway 97 at Chemult - packed snow on the road, snow flurries
  • Highway 58 at Willamette Pass - packed snow on the road, five inches new snow, snow flurries. Chain restriction between milepost 49 and 69.
  • Highway 140 at Doak Mountain - packed snow on the road, snow flurries
  • Highway 140 at Lake of the Woods - packed snow on the road, snow flurries. Chain restrictions between milepost 22 to about Seldom Creek Hill.
  • Highway 140 at Bly Summit - spots of ice on the road, snow flurries.
  • Highway 140 at Quartz Mountain Summit - spots of ice on the road, two inches of new snow.
  • Highway 140 at Lakeview - spots of ice on the road, trace amount of new snow.
  • Highway 140 at Warner Mountain Summit, packed snow on the road, two inches of new snow.
