Downed tree blocks intersection in Klamath Falls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- A 100-foot tree cracked and fell across the intersection of Third and Pine streets Friday morning, blocking the intersection until city officials were able to clear the debris, according to officials from the Klamath Falls City Police.

City police officers responded to the intersection at 9:30 a.m. following a citizen’s call reporting the tree was splitting. The fall caused minor property damage to a sidewalk.
