Medford Police Seek Convicted Felon and Wanted Suspect James John Lagace

The Medford Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon would like your help in locating convicted felon and wanted subject James John Lagace, born December 20, 1966.

In September 2008, Medford Police were dispatched to a verbal dispute call between neighbors.  The victims reported that they were menaced by Lagace as they were sitting in the driveway of their east Medford home.

Because Lagace has failed to appear on the charges of Menacing and Harassment, a warrant, held by the Medford Police Department, has been issued, bail $3,000.  An additional warrant, held by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, has been issued for Fail to Appear on the charge of Contempt of Court, bail $10,000

Lagace is described as a white male adult, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.     He has an eagle tattooed on his upper right arm, a one-inch scar on his chin, a 6-inch scar on his upper left arm and is missing some bottom teeth.  He may be using "Legace" as an alternate spelling of his last name.

Information has been received that Lagace is still living in the Jackson County area.  If you have seen James John Lagace, or have information of his whereabouts, please contact Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 800-3-DETECT (800-333-8328).   This Crime Stopper's case number is KMED 061709.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case or any unsolved criminal activity.  Callers can remain anonymous.  The reward is sponsored by Sonitrol of Medford.
