PENDLETON, Ore. -- Umatilla County Sheriff John Trumbo activated the county's major crimes team Monday to help with the search for a Milton-Freewater man missing since Nov. 13.

Trumbo told the East Oregonian newspaper of Pendleton he doesn't suspect foul play, but the case needs a fresh approach.

Jason Sartin and a friend had gone four-wheeling near Tiger Canyon in the Umatilla National Forest. The sheriff's office says the 32-year-old was reportedly last seen by the friend driving down a forest road in a pickup that belonged the friend's grandmother.

Trumbo says searchers have found no sign of Sartin or the pickup despite covering the territory in four-wheelers. A plane has also been used in the search.
