The search for two missing brothers along the Willamette River has stretched into a third day with investigators from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children assisting local authorities.
The investigators are looking into possible causes behind the brothers' disappearance.
Local authorities say there are no signs the two ran away or foul play was involved.
Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe says the search-and-rescue operation has ended, and a recovery mission has begun.
The brothers are 20-year-old Alvin Troub and 8-year-old Michael Runyon. They were reported missing after they failed to return from
a fishing outing.
