California Couple Convicted in Klamath Meth Case
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A California couple has been convicted on federal drug charges for methamphetamine distribution in Klamath Falls.
Prosecutors say that 51-year-old Bertha Calvillo-Nieves and her 48-year-old husband, Rodrigo Nieves-Cortez, drove from their home in Newell, California, to deliver meth in Klamath Falls.
Police found a large supply of methamphetamine at a local Klamath Falls storage facility the couple was using.
Large amounts of cash and various firearms were also seized.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 14.
