Firefighters Quickly Douse North Medford Grass Fire

Firefighters responded to a report of a grass fire at 10:50 a.m. today. The fire was climbing a hill behind United Rentals off Crater Lake Highway in an area of several businesses and homes atop the hill.
The fire was doused shortly after firefighters arrived and no structures were threatened.
