Woman Injured In Rogue River House Fire

Investigators say a cigarette in a couch started a house fire in Rogue River this afternoon... that sent a woman to the hospital.

Firefighters say the woman is one of two people who lived at the house. She was the only one inside when the fire broke out. The extent of the womans injuries is unknown, but firefights say she was unconcious in a back bedroom when they reached her.

The house is on Foothill Boulevard, on the west side of Rogue River. Firefighters say when they arrived there were flames shoting out of the front door and windows, and the house was filled with smoke.
