Two 15 year olds and an 18 year old are in custody, charged in connection with some of the arson fires that have plagued Grants Pass over the past two years.

The two 15 year old boys both lived in Grants Pass and recently moved to Roseburg. They're accused of setting a grass fire on August 29 near the City Water Tower "G" Street and Lincoln. One of the teens is charged with two counts of first degree arson and five counts of manufacture of a destructive device. The other is 15 year old is charged with one count of first degree arson and four counts of manufacture of a destructive device.

The 18 year old, Jonathon Robert Davis, is charged with one count each of first degree arson, second degree arson, and four counts of manufacture of a destructive device. He's accused in a December, 2007 fire in a vacant home on SW 5th Street that burned the basement of the home.

Dozens of other fires in the city, including the one that recently damaged playground equipment at Morrison Centennial Park, are still under investigation. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety says additional arrests are expected.
