Man Works 50 Jobs in 50 Weeks in 50 States

A man traveling the country working odd jobs is in Southern Oregon this week.

Daniel Seddiqui graduated from USC with an Economics degree, but went through 40 unsuccessful job interviews.

So he spent 8 months setting up 50 jobs for himself in all 50 states.  Now he's spending the next year working at those jobs.  This week, Seddiqui is working on a logging site near Union Creek.

In the past 12 weeks, Seddiqui has worked as a farmer, a real estate agent, and even a rodeo announcer.

His favorite job so far was working with a cartographer.  He was much less excited about his stint as a park ranger.

Seddiqui's final stops will be in America's most remote states.  He'll work as a cruise director in Alaska, and as a surf instructor in Hawaii.

Seddiqui plans on writing a book about his experiences.  He's also posting regular updates on his website.
