Suspect In Klamath Falls Stabbing Arrested
Daniel Lunsford was arrested in Apple Valley, California by members of the U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force.
Lunsford was the last of three suspects wanted for a stabbing July 3rd at a Klamath Falls gas station. A California man who was visiting the area was attacked in a fight that started when the suspects apparently didn't like the way the victim "looked" at them.
The man was hospitalized in critical condition after the stabbing.
Klamath Falls Police say they believe the victim and the suspects did not know each other and considered the act of violence a "random attack."
Lunsford faces charges including attempted murder and first degree assault. He's being held in the Orange County jail in California pending extradition to Oregon.
