Klamath Police Crack Down on Skateboarding

Police in Klamath Falls are cracking down on skateboarders and bicyclists who ride the sidewalks downtown.
Police have issued 14 citations under the ordinance banning bikes and skateboards from downtown sidewalks.
The law allows for fines up to $400, but most have been for $140. It's an old law, but Klamath Falls police have stepped up enforcement and publicity about it.
