Winning Oregon Lottery Ticket Expires May 23

Comments 0

A winning Oregon Lottery ticket worth $1,000 a week for life is about to expire, so state officials say it's time to doublecheck your wallet or your purse or even the sofa to see if it was overlooked.

The Win for Life ticket was purchased on May 23 last year in Hood River.

It's worth about $670 a week after taxes, or nearly $35,000 a year.

But it's no good after May 23 this year, when the ticket expires.

The largest unclaimed Oregon Lottery prize ever was a $3.5 million Megabucks jackpot for a ticket purchased in Tualatin in June 1996.
