UPDATE: Luke's Official Medical Condition Improves

Luke Baehne, the Jacksonville Elementary School student who nearly drowned this week after falling into an irrigation canal, is improving, Doernbecher Childrens Hospital spokesman said this morning.
Luke arrived in critical condition Tuesday after being flown from Medford on Tuesday shortly after he was pulled from the canal. His condition this morning was listed as "serious," an upgrade toward recovery.
