Possible Grants Pass Arson Video Posted on MySpace
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A video posted on MySpace may reveal the origin of a suspicious fire in Grants Pass.
Investigators say more than 40 suspicious fires in the Grants Pass area are under investigation, the possible work of one or more serial arsonists.
The fires have caused more than $140,000 dollars in damage.
Four people have been arrested this week in connection with one or more of the suspicious fires. Three are juveniles, the other is 18-year-old Jonathan Davis.
KTVL.com visited the suspects' MySpace profiles and found two videos showing footage of a fire. One video shows what looks like a small group of people setting one fire. Another video shows a male walking around what looks like a burnt area of forest. Pictures of charred debris are also posted on the site.
In one video the photographer talks about how high the flames got, where it started and expresses regret about the damage it caused.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety created a multi-agency task force to stop a string of suspicious fires that have flared up in the past two years.
Investigators say the investigation isn't over and more arrests are likely.
