Power has been restored to southern Oregon homes following a blackout Saturday evening.
About 16,000 customers in Medford, Eagle Point, Central Point, Gold Hill, Grants Pass, and several other communities lost power just before 5:30 PM.
The outage snarled traffic along Crater Lake Highway and closed Rogue Valley Mall.
Pacific Power representatives say the outage was caused by a fault in a transmission line between Central Point and White City.
Power was restored to all customers shortly before 8 PM Saturday night.
