Remains Found Near Table Rock ID'd

The human remains found at the base of the Lower Table Rock last week are those of a Central Point man missing for more than a year and a half.

Randy Sherman Dow was 44 when died.

He was reported missing by his mother on May 24, 2007, three days after she'd last seen him. His mother told the Sheriff's Office he'd previously left and been gone for a while, but he always eventually returned.

Investigators say they believe he'd been camping in the area, and that he accidentally fell to his death.
