OSP Seizes 2 Pounds of California Pot During Traffic Stop
An Oregon State Police traffic stop in the Lakeview area on
Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a California man following the
discovery of over 2 pounds of marijuana in the pickup he was driving.
OSP Sgt. Steve Yates, at
1:20 p.m., an OSP trooper stopped a 2008 GMC pickup
occupied by one individual on Highway 395 near milepost 132 for a
speed-related traffic violation.
More than 2 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value of
approximately $5,000 was discovered.
The pickup's driver, Orville Alan Claborn, 65, from Hayfork,
Calif., was arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail for
Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance
-Marijuana.
