Walk on the Wild Side is a weekly segment on KTVL featuring Wildlife Images, a private non-profit established in 1981 to care for and treat sick, injured and orphaned wildlife indigenous to the Pacific Northwest, while giving the public an opportunity to experience wildlife first-hand. Free tours (given on a reservation-only basis) are provided year 'round, seven days a week. On 24 acres of "living laboratory" adjacent to the Wild and Scenic portion of Southern Oregon's Rogue River, approximately 12 miles west of Grants Pass, Wildlife Images receives and cares for more than 2,000 animals every year at no charge to individuals or organizations. Additionally, they offer many educational programs for the public, through onsite activities as well as through educational outreach programs.

Wildlife Images receives no funding from the state or federal governments, relying solely on contributions from individuals and organizations.

Visit the Wildlife Images website here.
