MEDFORD, Ore. -- Operation Care survey's are in and city leaders are crunching numbers to find out how they can help.
Medford city leaders went to over 100 homes on Nov. 13 in the east Medford.
Most residents sharing the same concerns.
One concern they had were people congregating around the benches along the bike path.
Medford Police Department told News 10 that they have taken out one bench already and being successful.
Lt. Mike Budreau from Medford Police Department said they are looking into taking out another bench to eliminate the problem entirely.
The Wilson School neighborhood was visited by Operation Care last spring.
Neighbors there said the project worked for them.
Home owner, Peggy Walter was concerned about speeding.
"On a daily basis, a lot of the time late into the evening, you will have cars coming by here 40 to 50 miles an hour and this is a 25 mile an hour zone," said Walter.
Walter said she has seen a decreases in the number of cars speeding down her street.
She believes that Operation care would work in any neighborhood and she is happy city leaders are doing it all over Medford.
