JOSEPHINE COUNT, Ore.-Josephine County's Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team (RADE) kept busy the first week of April.
Oregon State Police said investigations led to five drug-related arrests and one drug citation.
One investigation started with a traffic accident on April 1. The suspect, Paul Poeche, ran off and was later found to have two warrants out for his arrest.
Poeche was cited, released and is scheduled to face several drug-related charges in court.
Another drug bust on April 2, stopped an attempted drug sale. Twin brothers Leonel Diaz and Leonardo Diaz were arrested in that investigation and are lodged in Josephine County Jail.
The final drug seizure happened on April 4, when a search warrant was being served and three suspects Tanner Wilson, Kristin Trujillo and Christopher Sealy, were all arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail.
Lt. Gregg Hastings with OSP said, though RADE cases are a group effort, the Josephine County team stays busy. "Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, Oregon State Police, Josephine County District Attorney's Office and Josephine County Community Corrections, so it definitely is a team effort, um, we can't do it alone and that area is one of our busiest areas and they're one of our busiest teams around the state," said Lt. Hastings.
The offenses involved heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine. Weapons, packaging material, cash and scales were also seized.
OSP asked anyone with any information on suspicious drug activity to contact the RADE tip line at 541.955.6970.
