Three dead, three hurt in shooting near Texas A&M
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Police say the gunman has died after a shooting that killed a law enforcement officer and another civilian near the Texas A&M University campus.

Bryan Police Department spokesman Jon Agnew says two other law enforcement officers and another woman also were injured in the Monday shooting in College Station. Bryan police are assisting in the investigation.

Assistant College Station Police Chief Scott McCollum earlier identified the officer killed as Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann.
