On Monday, two Ashland businesses -- El Paraiso and Valley Equipment -- reported burglaries to the Ashland Police, according to a press release from the Ashland Police Department.
Someone rammed the walls El Paraiso and Valley Equipment with a car. In both cases, the suspects broke in and stole various items including money and a computer. The suspects also took off with a checkbook.
The investigation lead police to two suspects: Richard Aguiar, 32, of Central Point and Miranda Ramirez, 24, of Central Point.
Police arrested Ramirez Friday morning near Vilas Road and Table Rock Road in Central Point. She was arrested on the suspicion of forgery, ID theft and possession a forged instrument.
Police arrested Aguiar in Central Point on the suspicion of burglary, criminal mischief, theft, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, ID theft, forgery and possession of a forged instrument.
Officers searched Aguiar's home in the 400 block of Alder Street at 1 p.m., where they say they found evidence.
