Members of the Jackson County Community Justice were visiting a home in the 2000 block of Campus Drive to check on Mark Francis Oyler, 37, a probation client.
While there, agents found evidence linked to drug trafficking, according to a press release form the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team. Community justice agents then called in investigators from the drug enforcement team.
Investigators searched the home and found 204 hydrocodone pills, a small amount of methamphetamine, packaging materials and about $7,911 in cash, the press release said.
Police say the home is within 1,000 feet of the North Medford High School.
Oyler lives in the home with his 14-year-old daughter, according to the press release.
The teen was not home when officers searched the home; however, the Department of Human Services was contacted to provide services for the girl.
Police arrested Oyler on the suspicion of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance -- hydrocodone; unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance -- hydrocodone; unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within a 1,000 feet of a school; unlawful possession of a controlled substance -- methamphetamine; child neglect; and a probation violation.
