MEDFORD, Ore. -- YMCA is giving back to the community by offering free programs to the public.
The Y opens at 4:30 a.m. and guess passes are available to give their club a test run.
One of the more popular free programs The Y offers is a health and fitness nutrition workshop.
On one Tuesday a month, learn about food that will make you feel better while losing a few pounds.
The nutrition class is free.
Other free programs include a Jog Your Memory Class, which involves mind challenging games to work on your "mental fitness."
On the third Friday of every month, round up the family for family night at The Y. Activities include basketball, rock climbing and billiards.
The Y offers many more fun and free activities, but it also provides financial assistance for those who need help getting a membership or pay for events that cost a little extra.
